Friday night we went to Redbud for an early 4th of July celebration. The kids played in the water, the adults talked, and we all had fun. We had a delicous Mexican dinner, yummy desserts and home-made ice cream. Then there were fireworks at dark (of course!). And, as always, I managed to get a lot of pictures!! (But I kinda had an excuse; I had to "explore" Dad's new camera and make sure it worked good!!) :]

This last week we went on a float trip with Rick and Lanelle. We all had a great time and can't wait to go back. We floated the river 3 times, and each trip was 4 miles. Talk about sore arms!! Paddling is hard work!! Afterwards, we went to Nana's for Daylon and Kerri's wedding. We thought it might rain but it turned out to be a beautiful day for a wedding. My camera died, so I didn't get any pictures of the cake and all the fun stuff....But I still managed to get a TON of pictures!! sorry..... :]

My New Camera!

I got a new camera!!! It's totally awesome. It has a really cool feature called the smile mode. It takes a picture when you smile!! I'm not sure if a lot of cameras have this, it was just the first time I'd heard of it and I thought it was pretty cool!! This will give me an excuse to post lots of random pictures now....YAY!!! :]

We are on Spring Break!! Yay!! My birthday (last wed.) was amazing!! I have such awesome friends! (2 rounds of cupcakes!! ) Thanks Ashley and Autumn!! I got socks, books, and clothes, so I'm happy!! :] We still haven't figured out what we're doing for spring break....lol We're thinking either camping or going to MO...hmmm. The weather here is AWESOME!! Today's high is like 75 and it's so beautiful!! Went ice skating yesterday...bruised knees. (I only fell 7 times this time!!) Pretty much just boring stuff around here....the usual... :] Hope we have fun this week...I sure could use some!! :]

The big Livestock Show was Wednesday and Thursday, along with the lamb lead. Missed both those days!! :] Bonus Auction was Friday. Had tons of fun, can't wait till next year!! Here are more pics of the show. FYI--Came home with $120, 5th place showing and 2nd in Lamb Lead!! :]

Local Livestock Show

Yesterday was the local show. What a blast!! I had lots of fun but I'm so tired because we didn't get in last night till like 10:30 and I had to get up at 6:30. (I like my sleep.) Anyways, most of the pictures I got were blurry or dark....Some were okay. Tonight we head in for the actual big show were everybody comes....It's already been a LOOOOONG week. We went to Missouri this weekend for Wes and Cara's wedding. It was lots of fun and the wedding turned out really nice. We managed to get ZERO pictures....oh well. Dad did come home sick tho....that was the only bad think about the trip. :[ I have a lot of pictures to upload....Just can't get around to doing anything! I'm really lazy. Have a good week!!

Sorry I've been such a slacker. I was busy enjoying my time with Nana. :] She left today. :[
Sarah and Brandon came late Saturday night and stayed the weekend, then left today with Nana. We loved having Nana down. We'll see her again next weekend for a wedding tho.

Don't think I've ever mentioned my wool project...I made an outfit from wool. Yeah.....it was EXTREMELY hard. Nana helped me finish it and I love it!! I plan to wear it at the Lamb Lead in March (that's were you dress up in wool clothes and walk a sheep and answer questions and get lots of money!! :]) and win big bucks!! (Last year I was really bummed cuz I got 8th-last-place and I was the oldest in the group. I thought I did really good but I didn't :[ ) Can't wait for the spring show!! I'll try to post a picture of my wool outfit....who knows?! :]

The weather here is amazing. This week temps. have been in in the low 70s and it's beautiful!! We had a few thunderstorms and tornadoes today (It's pouring at our house as we speak!!) Hopefully the worst of winter is over!! :] I'll try and enjoy this wonderful weather as much as I can while it's here. Can't wait for spring!! :]

I have this really bad habit of rambling on and on and on about stupid things that you could prolly care less about but I'm working really really hard to stop it cuz I know it bores you...You can prolly guess how well that's working out!! :] LOL

(I wasn't sure what to put for a title!!) Yesterday I went to an academic team meet. In case you're wondering, that's where they round up a bunch of nerds, haul to a wee-bitty town, and make 'em take tests all day. It's simply wonderful. (NOT) Anyways, I went. And I regret it. 1st of all, I didn't go to school Friday because Nana and Papa and the cousins were here. I didn't have a lot of details. All I knew was that we were meeting at the school at 7:00. A.M. ON A SATURDAY. Oh, and that there would be doughnuts. :] 2nd of all, I'm not feeling 100% well. My throats a little scratchy and I can hardly talk. (It's DREADFUL!!) 3rd of all, out of that humongous group of nerds, I knew NO ONE. So I sat on the bus by myself and read an entire book. (I'm tellin' ya, that was the longest bus ride in my entire life!! Like 4 hours!! ON A BUS!!!) About the doughnuts: I only got one. And I was starving by the time we got there. Anyways, my test wasn't until 12. (We started around 10) So I sat (by myself, again) and did nothing. I knew I shoulda brought more books!! By the time 12 rolled around, I was so hungry I couldn't stand it. (I only had 1 doughnut :]) I begged my teacher for some money and scarfed down a bag of flamin' hot Cheetos. (They kept me from noticing my burning throat....Or maybe they made it worse...?) I went to take my test (humanities...EEEK!) and the "instructor" yelled at me for asking a question. (He actually wasn't an instructor, just a "kid" that looked about 20) I was the last one to finish my test and when everyone left I started rushing so I could get outta there as soon as I could!! Maybe that's why I made a 45%. 8th place. Outta like 12 or 13 people. I was the highest scorer(?) in our school for humanities, tho!! (The other 2 tied for 9th place with 43%) So much for representing the school. The only thing that made me feel a wee bit better was when I realized the top scorer(?) got like a 62%. I so coulda had 'em if I hadn't rushed!! :] Our school did ok tho and brough home 10 medals.

That was my day!! It lasted until 5!! Hope your day was better than mine.

Just a small update. Not much happenin' round here!! I can't think of much to say....

Nana and Papa came down for a few days. Brought Chelsea, Josh, and Uncle Caveman with them. They haven't been here in about 10 years!! (literally) We'll have a lot of fun with them.

No school today!! Or yesterday!! Or the day before!! We've been out of school for 3 days now...and no I'm not ready to go back!! Maybe if we're lucky we won't have to go tomorrow either!!

The Light Show

Saturday evening Dad took us kids into town for the night. It was very fun and we all enjoyed it. We had planned on seeing a light display in Mustang and on our way we passed the Christmas in the Park in Yukon. We decided to go see it too. It was very cool with tons of lights. I didn't get any pictures of it while we were in it but got a few from the highway. They aren't the best, but some of them actually look kinda cool. Enjoy!!

We didn't do much for Christmas, but it was still fun. We started working over at Neeneys this morning. About 12:30 we headed back over to our house and had a somewhat traditional dinner. Then we played a few games of croquet,

We discovered an apple peeling ring making thing while we were cleaning at Neeney's yesterday. "Ringed Apples" as we like to call them are DELICIOUS. They're just regular apples, but maybe it's the ringed affect that makes them so good.

Is finally here!! No more school for 2 weeks!! I'm so excited!! Our main project right now is to sort through ALL of Neeney's junk at her old house. Let me tell you, that's a BIG task. Saturday we got the laundry room and most of the kitchen done. We've still got A LOT more to do though. Rick and Lanelle are here helping us get it all done. We all went and saw Neeney yesterday. Sorry I haven't posted in a while...we've been pretty busy. ( I use that as an excuse every time but this time I'm for real!!!) lol Anyways, we are in the process of moving Neeney into an assisted living home. She moves in tomorrow so we've been up at her place packing and getting ready for all of that. After we move her in we hope to head out to Rick and Lanelle's for Thanksgiving. We'll go up to Nana's on Friday for their 50th wedding anniversary get together. Should be a fun week. Sorry nothing really interesting!! I can be kinda dull....:) I'll possibly get some pictures up Monday or Tuesday...We'll see!! lol Have a wonderful, happy Thanksgiving!!

Sunday we went to Incredible Pizza. Change of plans. We went this Sunday instead because everyone was sick last Sunday. Anyways, it wasn't so great. Try walking around for 3 hours with 3 kids, no money to play games, and in ballet shoes. You know the ones that are like super flat and are made for looks, NOT walking around at Increbible Pizza in. Sorry, but my feet STILL hurt. JK!!! It was a VERY long day. Anyways, we survived and I got a few pics. Here they are!!

Hello again!! I know that I have been terrible about updating my blog, I will try to do better!! Conventions are over. :( So sad to think that we won't have them for another year!! Time just goes by too fast! Last night one of my friends and her family took me trick-or-treating. It was so fun!! it was the first time I'd EVER been!! Crazy, I know!! We just never really celebrated Halloween when we were all kids!! Anyways, yesterday we had a garage sale and made like $50.00. Probably not even that much. It was a last minute thing, 2 of our neighbors were having one so we decided to just through some junk out and have one too!! Definitely not the best we've ever done!! Last night Nana and Papa came so we are excited to have them down for the weekend. Then, tomorrow we are all going to Tulsa so Dad and his siblings can work some things out for Neeney. And while they are doing that we get to go to Incredible Pizza!! I know, so exciting!! lol I think that's all that has happened around here in the past couple weeks. Sorry I haven't posted in a while!! I really am gonna try and do better.....:) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Well, we are back from convention (we were actually back Sunday night but haven't had time to post). Had a field trip today and I am so tired I can hardly function. I should go take a nap. Well, just hopped on here to tell you that we're off to our conventions tomorrow.....Won't be posting for a while, plus, this week (3 days, we're off Thurs. and Fri. for fall break which also happens to be Bradley, so that's AWESOME!!) was 9 weeks test. Lots of studying and cramming for those things!! And next week is Perry and we miss school for those so yeah....probably won't be on for a while. This was quite a random post but, hey, what more can you excpect from me?! lol

Okay so again this is terribly late, but if you know me well enough you would have gotten used to that by now!! lol Anyways, last Friday, Mom, Alysse, Connor, and I went to the mall for Connor's birthday. We had lots of fun, did lots of shopping and then we ate at El Chico's. So the next day we get up and go to Bradley workday and afterwards go back into town, do some more shopping, and go out to eat AGAIN!! (We went to Red Robin's and got a shake and an appetizer but that's still considered eating out!) Anyways, Sunday after meeting we go back into town and go out to eat AGAIN at Spaghetti Warehouse. So you could imagine that we are sick and tired of going out to eat!!! (At least I am) Anyways, we had a pretty good weekend and FINALLY ate all of our leftovers. lol Here are a few pictures of our weekend.
